The flotation machine is a key separation device that utilizes differences in the physicochemical properties of mineral surfaces to achieve mineral separation. By introducing air into the ore pulp to form a large number of bubbles, target minerals—regulated by reagents to be surface-hydrophobic—attach to the bubbles and float up to form a mineralized foam layer. This layer is then scraped off by a scraping mechanism to obtain concentrate, while hydrophilic gangue and impurities remain in the pulp and are discharged as tailings. Characterized by high separation efficiency, strong adaptability, and stable operation, it is widely used in the beneficiation and separation of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, non-metallic ores, and coal. It serves as the core equipment for achieving fine separation and improving grade within mineral processing flows.
