Hydrocyclone
No custom attributes available for this product.
A hydrocyclone is a highly efficient separation device that utilizes the principle of centrifugal sedimentation for solid-liquid separation, classification, and thickening. Under pressure, the material enters the cylindrical body tangentially and rotates at high speed. Coarse and heavy particles, subjected to greater centrifugal force, are thrown towards the wall and discharged downward along the conical wall through the underflow. Fine and light particles, however, move upward with the inner vortex and exit through the overflow outlet. Featuring no moving parts, a simple structure, high processing capacity, and a small footprint, it is widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, environmental protection, and chemical engineering for processes like particle size classification, tailings dewatering, slurry thickening, and impurity removal.
